Chapter 756 I Got the Wrong Person

  • Han Muzi sat alone to rest after Rory left. She didn’t want to get too involved with her, but she was also telling the truth when she explained that she was exhausted after standing for a long time. After all, she had been busy ever since Ye Moxuan’s accident. She would become exhausted by the end of each day, and that was true for the past few days since she ran errands non-stop in order to approach Ye Moxuan.
  • However, she was satisfied. Right now, he is just in front of me. I should stop and rest when I’m tired. Judging by how the interview went today, I should have… a fifty percent chance of procuring the position.
  • She wasn’t sure how long she sat there, but it wasn’t until all the interview candidates left before Han Muzi finally patted her legs and stood up. After that, she made her way to the elevator. She walked slowly because she had nothing else to do after this. She just had to head back and wait for the results. She planned to go to the nearest shopping mall to buy some ingredients after leaving the company. After that, she would head home to cook herself a meal.
  • Han Muzi felt something wasn’t quite right when she was walking. Then, she realized something when she looked up. Isn’t this the elevator I used earlier? It says ‘President only’; that means this elevator is specifically for Ye Moxuan.
  • Han Muzi was astounded. Damn it. She cursed in silence and turned around to leave this place because she didn’t want to bump into him later. However, she barely took a couple steps when she heard some clinking noises behind her. It sounds like a bunch of keys clinking against each other. That’s strange… Why is there a sound of keys tinkling here?
  • Han Muzi turned around out of curiosity. She saw a tall and sturdy figure walking toward her. He was tall and exceptionally handsome. His deep-set eyes stared at her face with a steely glare. Without warning, the two of their eyes met in that instance.
