It was no wonder she felt so suffocated and hot at the same time.
Startled, Yan leapt to her feet from the chair. She turned around and ran outside.
Yan was still very glad and relieved since the fire hadn’t spread toward the door yet. Although she didn’t know how the place caught fire in the first place, she would be alright if she managed to get out of the room.
However, by the time Yan ran toward the door to pull the door open, she realized that the door was locked from the outside.
She was locked in a room before recently. When she realized that the door wouldn’t budge no matter how hard she pulled it, there were goosebumps all over her body and shivers crept down her spine as she pulled the door with all her might, but no matter how hard she pulled, the door remained closed.
W-What’s going on? Someone set the place on fire to burn me alive and kill me? No, I can’t die!
