Chapter 90 Australian Open Finals

  • They were chatting and joking, and then Mark’s phone rang. He smiled when he saw the caller ID, “Hello Tamara, are you well?” Tamara replied, “Mark please open the gate, we are outside.” Mark opened the gate and walked to the door to open it for Tamara. Theodore and Tamara got out of their car and walked to the door. Tamara was carrying desserts. “Good morning my handsome brother, we are here to give our sister-in-law support.” Mark hugged her and shook Theodore’s hand. When they saw Uncle Anthony in the living room, their eyes lit up. Tamara walked to Uncle Anthony and said, “Hello Uncle Anthony, I’m so happy to see you.” Uncle Timothy smiled at her and hugged her. Then she hugged Uncle Lewis. She ignored Jonathan and hugged her sister-in-law. She didn’t like Jonathan because his mother, Grace, was not friendly to them. Grace saw them as a threat to Jonathan. Theodore greeted everyone and sat down next to Uncle Anthony. Tamara took the desserts to the kitchen. She bought Malva pudding and Black Forest Cake.
  • Tamara told them that she had heard that Mrs Johnson had been admitted to the public hospital, and she was very rude to the nurses. Everyone was so shocked because the Johnson family didn’t lack money. Tamara’s friend was a doctor. She told her everything about Mrs Johnson’s rudeness. “The hospital Manager called Mr Johnson when he arrived; Mrs Johnson was on a hunger strike. The nurse refused to give her medication without eating first. She became rude to the nurse. I heard that Mr Johnson threatened to take her back to her family should he receive a complaint from the hospital again. Since then, she has stopped being rude. You know I want to visit her in the hospital just to laugh at her.”
  • Victoria was very worried, “Tamara, why did Mr Johnson move his beloved wife to the public hospital?” Tamara smiled and replied, “I heard that after Uncle visited her in the JHB General hospital, she vowed not to let you off because you had humiliated her by sending the reporters to her. Mr Johnson tried to explain to her that she was in the wrong place at the wrong time. She turned a deaf ear. She told her husband that she didn’t care about the business. Uncle could bankrupt them if he wants. Her husband was so mad. He quickly moved her to the public hospital to teach her a lesson. Apparently, Mrs Johnson’s background was very poor; she was working at the supermarket before she got married to Mr Johnson.” Everyone was so shocked; they couldn’t believe their ears. They thought Mrs Johnson was coming from a rich family since she was arrogant and proud. “Sister-in-law, I’m here to support you. I believe that Rafa will win today, I can’t wait to see him biting the trophy.” Victoria smiled at her and said, “thank you sister-in-law, much appreciated.” Everyone was sitting in the living room waiting for the match to start. Snacks were on the coffee table and drinks; the mood was good.
