Chapter 49 Will Victoria Be Saved?

• Macy visited Serene at the Johnson residence. They were sitting in Serene's bedroom talking, “James asked me to abort the baby, but I refused. He doesn’t talk to me; he is staying in his apartment. James told his parents that since they loved their grandchild he would marry me,” said Serene crying. “Have they set the wedding date?” asked Macy. Serene sighed, “The date has not been set yet, I think they are waiting for James to come around. I’m scared that I will be showing up soon. James' parents never liked me, they tolerated me because of the baby.” said Serene sorrowfully, she was regretful for not having a good relationship with James’s mother. “Don’t be stressed my friend, it’s not good for the baby, why don’t you ask your mother-in-law how far they are with wedding preparations.” said Macy.
• When Macy left, Serene asked her mother-in-law about the wedding. Mrs Johnson told her that she would suggest to James registering her marriage at Home Affairs, then do big wedding after she gave birth. Serene was so happy. Mrs Johnson discussed James’s marriage with her husband. Her husband nodded his head, “That’s a good idea my wife, let’s have a meeting with James, call him wife.” Mrs Johnson gave her son a call and asked him to come home.
• When James arrived home, his dad, mother, and Serene were sitting in the living room. He frowned and said, “What is the matter mom?” He didn’t even greet his parents. “Don’t you greet now James, is how we raised you up? asked his dad fuming. James apologized to his father. His father looked at him and said, “James, why don’t you register your marriage first, then we will arrange the big wedding after Serene gave birth. What do you think? James didn’t care anymore, he agreed and told Serene to meet him at Home Affairs at 9:30. Serene was over the moon.
