Chapter 181 Financial Breakthrough

• After the funeral Zion followed his fiancé to the Anthony mansion. When he saw Victoria he kissed her on both cheeks and said, “Victoria, thank you so much for everything you’ve done for me. I don’t have enough words to describe the way I feel.” Victoria smiled brightly at him and replied, “you are welcome.” Zion told everyone that the person who helped him with his studies was Uncle Patrick. When Uncle Timothy heard that it was her daughter in love who chose Zion’s name he was grinning from ear to ear. He felt that his daughter in love was special. Tamara hugged her sister in law tightly she was really grateful to the Lewis family for helping her sweetheart in a time of need. Zion told Tamara that he didn’t have a chance to talk to his grandmother last night because he arrived home very late. Zion bade goodbye to everyone and left. Tamara walked him out to the car. Zion took her into his arms and said, “Baby, we will be visiting your uncle on Saturday for betrothal gifts. I can’t wait for you to be my wife. Tamara was thrilled she couldn’t wait to be Mrs White. She kissed Zion on the lips giggling. All the sadness she had about the funeral disappeared. She smiled brightly at her fiancé then Zion drove his car away.
• Tamara stood outside for a long time after her fiancé left. She was so happy she walked to the living room with quick steps and sat beside her Uncle. She held his arms smiling and said, “Uncle Timothy, Zion and grandma will visit you on Saturday to bring betrothal gifts.” Uncle Timothy smiled at her and said, “congratulations my dearest you chose well.” Her brothers whistled and hugged her. Victoria smiled beautifully at her she was very happy for her and said, “congratulations my dearest sister.” Tamara smiled brightly at her and hugged her. She was so happy she called her secretary to tell her that she wasn’t going back to work. Earlier she indicated to her secretary that she would go back after the funeral but now it would be a waste of time because she would be distracted. Mark kissed his wife and went back to work. Jonathan and Theodore followed Mark and left smiling.
• Mr Lewis told the HR Manager to issue the Acting letters to Sam Tate as Marketing Acting Director and to Jonathan as Acting Deputy Director as soon as he came back from Durban. He told the Marketing team that he was grooming Jonathan for the Anthony Group and asked the team to nominate another team member who they thought deserved to be Acting Deputy Director. However, out of envy no one nominated their fellow colleagues. After that there was no complaints of nepotism because the CEO had given everyone a chance to nominate a deserving person, but they failed to use that opportunity. Jonathan was utilizing Victoria’s office.
