Chapter 74 To Watch A Movie

• Mark and his father brought braai pap and salads to the dining room table, after five minutes, Jonathan and his friends put braai meat on the table. They sat around the table to eat. The meat was tender, and it tasted good. Mark had grilled fish for his wife. The atmosphere was good. When they finished eating, Jonathan and his friends cleared the table and put dishes in the dish washing machine. Then they walked to the living room, “Uncle Anthony, our big brother promised to invite us to their wedding.” Timothy looked at his son and asked, “when are you holding your wedding?” Mark looked at his wife. They haven’t discussed their wedding since she was pregnant. “We are not sure yet Dad, we haven’t decided. I would like my children to be part of our wedding. If they are daughters, I would like them to be their mother’s flower girls and, if they are boys, to be my page boys, maybe when they are three years old.” Victoria smiled sweetly at her husband; she liked the idea. His father smiled and said, “Patrick and I will take care of the wedding. The rings and the wedding dress are your responsibility. Do you want us to book Sweet Lake Resort?” Victoria smiled at him and replied, “it doesn’t matter to me Dad, as long as I’m marrying your son I have no regrets.” Her father-in-law beamed; he was so happy. Mark looked at his wife tenderly. He felt the same way too. As long as he married the love of his life, he didn’t care about anything. He had already designed their rings; his wife’s wedding dresses; groomsmen's suits and his suit. Jonathan’s friends left, then they went to their separate bedrooms. Mark looked at his wife affectionately and carried her to their bedroom. Victoria was counting her blessings. She thanked the Lord for blessing her with a husband who loved her dearly. The love they shared was deep and everlasting.
• Mark walked to their closet to look for pajamas. He found a sexy night dress. There were no pajamas. He smiled mischievously and took the night dress to his wife. Victoria opened her eyes wide when she saw the night dress. It was too sexy, it barely covered her bums. Mark was grinning from ear to ear, “Mrs Anthony, are you trying to seduce me?” Victoria giggled and nodded her head. She looked at her husband lovingly. Mark held her in his arms and kissed her for a long time. “I love you Mrs Anthony, you look ravishing.” Victoria smiled and replied, “I love you more Mr Anthony.” Victoria walked to the closet to look for her husband’s sleepwear. She found silk satin short pajamas. She helped her husband to wear them. She looked at him smiling, “Wow, you look dashing, Mr Anthony.” Mark smiled at his wife; Victoria was mesmerized by his smile. Her mind became blank. Mark embraced her and kissed her senseless, then he picked her up and tucked her in bed. Mark looked at her lovingly and joined her. He held her in his arms. He brushed her stomach and said, “Sweetheart, I can’t wait to see our babies.” Victoria touched his handsome face and replied, “me too, my love.” Victoria fell asleep in her husband’s arms with a smile on her face. Mark looked at his sleeping wife, his heart melted. He never thought that he would be blessed with such a wonderful wife.
• On Sunday morning, Mark was holding his sleeping wife in his arms and kissing her. Victoria opened her eyes smiling, “good morning my love, did you sleep well?” Mark smiled at her and replied, “good morning to you too Mrs Anthony, I slept well thank you, and you?” Victoria giggled, she took her husband’s hand and placed it in her stomach, “Baby, our babies are kicking.” Mark was so excited, their babies kicked again. He hugged his wife and kissed her passionately. “Let’s go for a date today, do you want to go to the movie?” asked Mark. Victoria was so happy and replied, “Let’s go to the movies. I saw a trailer of Wrath of Man. I wanted to see my boyfriend, Jason Statham. I heard that my husband, Mel Gibson, is busy with The Passion of the Christ 2. I can’t wait to see it when it is released. What are your favorite movies?” Mark smiled at his wife and replied, “I’ve never been to the cinema before. I don’t have a favorite movie. I will accompany you to see your boyfriend, Jason Statham. Maybe I will find a girlfriend too.” Victoria giggled and kissed him, and then he picked up his wife and walked to the bathroom to wash up.
