Chapter 201 Rosemary Deserved It

• After Rosemary Johnson left her son’s apartment, she decided to go to Pretoria Correctional Centre to see Grace Anthony. Her intention was not to be friends with her but to find the strongest person in prison to deal with Serene Logan for her. She was embarrassed and humiliated because of Serene. She lost everything because of her. Her loving husband was in the arms of another woman because of her. How could she tolerate that? When she arrived at Pretoria Correctional Centre it was 5 pm. She approached the security guard and said politely, “young man, what are the visiting hours?” The security guard told her that it was 9 am to 3 pm. Rosemary told the security guard that she had travelled from afar to see her daughter. The security guard was very sorry for her and said, “Please tell me the name of your daughter and I will ask my friend to find out about her well-being.” Rosemary was overjoyed. She took a copy of Serene’s ID, she put one thousand rand in it. She smiled and said, “thank you for your kindness, young man. Here is her ID.” When the security guard saw the money he smiled brightly. He thanked her and quickly took his phone and called his nephew. He put him on speaker and said, “Wayne Saunders, kindly ask around about Serene Logan and call me back.” Wayne Saunders was a prison warden, he was appointed three months ago. He was an easy going person and very friendly. He made a lot of friends in the prison. A few minutes later, Wayne Saunders called him back. He told him about Serene’s incident, which was caused by Beauty. Rosemary’s eyes lit up when she heard that. She asked the security guard to introduce her to the prison warden. She left her phone number and promised to reward him with one hundred thousand rand should he successfully arrange the prison warden for her. The security guard was forty years old and he had never seen such money in his entire life.
• The Anthony couple bade Mr Johnson and Aunt Abigail goodbye and left. When they passed CY Photo studio, Victoria asked her husband to stop the car. Mark looked for the parking spot and parked the car. Victoria smiled and said, “Baby, let’s go inside. I want to enlarge and frame some photos to thank our fathers for babysitting our sons.” Mark smiled, his wife was so thoughtful. They went inside, Victoria took out her phone. The staff member approached them and asked, “How may I help you?” Victoria asked him to print the selected photos for her. While Victoria was talking to the staff member, Mark was looking for frames. Mark picked two Antique silver frames and walked to his wife and asked, “Sweetheart, what do you think about these frames?” Victoria flashed him a bright smile and replied, “I like them a lot, honey.” Victoria asked the staff member to frame the two photos of the elders. Then she took another two photo frames and gave it to the staff member. Half an hour later, they left the shop.
• When they arrived home, they found their fathers sitting on the floor with their grandchildren in the playroom. They were playing with toys. Grandpa Anthony had asked Butler Goodman to take photos of them. It was a wonderful day. Grandpa Lewis smiled when he saw his son-in-law and his daughter and said, “You are back. How was the shooting?” Mark smiled back at his father-in-law and replied, “The shooting went well, Dad. Mr Brady designed the wedding rings for us as a gift.” Then he took the velvet box from his pocket to show his father-in-law. Both Grandpas praised the wedding rings. “Your grandsons didn’t trouble you?” asked Mark. His father-in-law looked at his grandsons with gentle eyes and replied, “We had the best day of our lives. Your father and I decided to babysit our grandsons every Saturday.” Their sons were over the moon when they saw their parents. They smiled brightly at them. Victoria handed over Grandpa Lewis’ framed photo to Mark, and then she took Grandpa Anthony’s framed photo. She picked up Rafael and said, “Grandpa, I have prepared this gift for you, to thank you for showering me with your love.” Grandpa Timothy was over the moon when he saw his gift. In the photo, he was carrying Rafael in his lap. He was looking at him affectionately. He took Rafael in his arms and kissed his soft cheeks. He looked at his daughter in love and said, “thank you my daughter in love, this is the best gift ever.” Then he kissed Victoria on both cheeks. Mark walked to his father-in-law with Gabriel in his arms and said, “Grandpa, this is my first gift to you as a token of appreciation.” Grandpa Lewis’ joy couldn’t be concealed from his face when he saw the photo. The love in his face was indescribable when he was looking at his grandson. He took his lovely grandson and kissed him. He hugged his son-in-law and said, “Son, thank you from the bottom of my heart for the gift. I am really blessed to have a son like you.” Mark thanked his lovely wife in his heart.
