Chapter 199 Fairytale Love

• When Mark arrived at the office; he went to his father’s office and knocked on the door. His father gave him permission to enter. He beamed when he saw his son. Mark put a lunch box on his father’s desk and said, “Your daughter in love asked me to give you this lunch box and she sent her regards.” His father was beside himself with excitement; he took his phone and called his daughter in love, “Hello my beautiful daughter, thank you so much for my lunch box. Blessings upon blessings.” Victoria smiled, and then they hung up. Mark sat opposite his father and looked at his father’s laptop smiling. He thought his father was busy but he was watching his grandsons’ videos. Mark greeted his father and said, “Dad, I need a favor. Would you be so kind as to babysit Rafael and Gabriel this coming Saturday? We will be shooting Mr Brady’s commercial.” His father was overjoyed when he heard his son’s request and replied, “I cannot wait to spoil those little dumplings, Son.” Mark thanked his father and went to his office. He called his father-in-law and said, “Dad, Victoria and I will be shooting Mr Brady’s commercial on Saturday. Will you be so kind to babysit Rafael and Gabriel for us?” His father-in-law was over the moon. He wished that it was Saturday already. Then they hung up the phone. He quickly called Timothy and said, “Timothy, we need a crash course on how to change diapers. We have the whole week to learn.” Timothy laughed and replied, “Let’s visit them after work for our training.”
• At 10 am Chairman Anthony, Mark and Deon went to the boardroom to attend a meeting. The board members and Cyril Bay were already there. The board members unanimously approved the funding, and then the meeting adjourned at 12 pm. On their way to the office, Mark told his father that he had a meeting with Mr Brady at 1 pm. Then he went straight to the parking lot and drove away. He arrived at Mr Brady’s office at 12:50. Mr Brady’s assistant was waiting for him by the lift. When he saw him, he greeted him and escorted him to Mr Brady’s office. Mark was welcomed warmly by Mr Brady. He shook his hand and said, “thank you for coming Mr Anthony much appreciated.” He led him to the sofa, and then they sat down. Mark asked Mr Brady to call him by his name. Mr Brady’s assistant returned with tea on a tray, and then he left the office.
• Mr Brady walked to his safe and retrieved a black velvet box. When he opened it, sitting on the box was a rare African tanzanite and diamond set of wedding rings. The rings were exquisite and unique. Mr Brady named them ‘Fairytale Love’. He told Mark that he got inspiration when he witnessed their love at their engagement banquet. Then he decided to design this set of wedding rings for them as a gift. Mark was dumbfounded he didn’t know what to say. He thanked Mr Brady and told him that he had designed the wedding dress for his wife that she would wear during the commercial shoot. Mr Brady was grinning from ear to ear and said, “Mark, you made my work easier. How soon will you be able to shoot the commercial?” Mark told him that they were available this coming weekend. Mr Brady was overjoyed then he told Mark the full details of the shoot. Mr Brady thanked Mark and he left.
