Chapter 178 My Condolences To The Family

• When Tamara received a call from her brother Mark she was at home reading October issue of Glory magazine. She was so proud of his brother and her sister in law’s fairytale love. Their love was so special, only few managed to achieve it. She prayed that their love be stronger every day. It was her heart desire to be blessed with something like that. She was aware that Serene had a miscarriage. Also, she overheard Mr Johnson telling Victoria that he felt that the incident was not simple. Was Mr Johnson telling the truth? She decided to listen to the recording. She was dumbfounded when she heard that Serene was plotting to kill her nephews. She was so angry she started laughing. She went to the study room to look for Uncle Timothy. She knocked on his study room, when she was given a permission to enter she opened the door. Uncle Timothy was sitting on his desk looking at the baby shower photos. He was in a good mood, he was grinning from ear to ear. He looked at Tamara with a smile and said, “my dearest, are you looking for me?” Tamara smiled back at him and replied, “my sister in law’s baby shower was beautiful. Unbeknownst to us that there was someone plotting to kill my cute nephews. I’m so upset, my brother sent me Serene’s recording indicating that she will touch my nephews. I didn’t know that she is so brave.” Uncle Timothy’s face became dark and said, “she is not brave she is delusional. Who can touch my daughter in love and live? I will make sure that she will never go out from prison. It was brave of Sandra to record Serene. It will be difficult to solve this matter without the recording. Serene is forgetful that she is out on bail for attempted murder. Please don’t tell my daughter in love about Serene’s plot to kill my grandsons.” Tamara laughed out loud Serene was forgetful indeed. She was relieved to hear that her uncle would not let Serene off. She told him about James’ request then she left the study room to call her fiancé. She didn’t want to disturb him, but she didn’t have a choice.
• At the Lewis mansion Zion received a call from his fiancé asking him to allow James to visit Serene at the hospital then she sent a recording to him. Zion was puzzled because he heard that Serene had a miscarriage on Michael’s banquet. Why was she arrested? Zion opened the recording. When he heard Serene’s plot to kill her child his eyes were big as saucers. Serene was a monster she didn’t deserve to be outside. Uncle Patrick was so shocked when he heard that Serene killed her baby, and she was targeting his grandchildren. He walked to his study to call Mr Johnson, he understood the pain of losing the loved one. Serene was so cruel. Zion felt that Serene was insane to think about touching the Anthony family. He quickly called his brother in law and said, “Big brother, I will advise the policemen stationed outside Serene’s ward to allow James an entry. Please let James know.” Mark thanked his brother in law and hung up.
• Mark looked at James and asked, “do you want me to accompany you to the hospital?” James shook his head and thanked Mark for his help and his support. They used to be friends since primary school until University. He knew that he couldn’t blame anyone because he did this to himself. He chose the monster instead of kind-hearted Victoria. He couldn’t cry over spilled milk. Their relationship became sour when Mark married his ex-wife. Mark then got out of James’ car and walked to his own car he then drove home. On the way he called Deon and said, “something came up I’m no longer coming back to work. We will continue tomorrow.” They hung up the phone. When Mark left the office Deon thought that something happened to the Anthony family. He was praying for the babies to be alright. Since Victoria was thirty three weeks pregnant Mark was finalizing all the outstanding work. He didn’t want to leave too much work for his father. Deon volunteered to work on Sunday. His father didn’t have an intention to go back to work. He spent his time at his grandsons’ nursery. He was a proud grandfather. Mark let him be.
