Chapter 151 Medical Parole

  • At the hospital Jonathan was sitting next to his mother’s bed waiting for her to wake up. The moment she opened her eyes it was blurry. She held Jonathan’s hand and said crying, “Timothy, I knew that you love me the most and you will never allow anyone to bully me. Please forgive me for every pain I’ve caused our family. I was jealous of your relationship with Mark, I promise that I will never harm them again. Please apply for a medical parole for me. Jonathan told me that Tamara’s boyfriend is the Area Commissioner at the Pretoria Correctional Centre please speak to him for early release. I know that I was wrong I will change for the better.” Jonathan was dumbfounded he was so worried for nothing. Did his mother allowed herself to be stabbed on purpose in order to get his father’s forgiveness?
  • He shook his mother’s hand and said, “Mom, did you stage the stabbing?” His mother blinked her eyes, she was shocked to see Jonathan. Was she hallucinating when she saw Timothy next to her bed? She was so disappointed that his son saw through her. She looked at her son with sadness in her eyes and replied, “what do you mean Jonathan?” Jonathan was so upset and said, “Mom, why did you promise Beauty that you will bring my brother to visit her?” His mother was so shocked that her son heard about the promise she made to her inmates and replied, “I didn’t mean anything I was joking but they took it seriously. Who am I to bring Mark to visit Beauty?”
  • Jonathan was fuming and looked at his mother with disdain in his eyes and said, “Do you think you deserve Medical Parole? Did Dr Spade diagnosed you and told you that you are in the final stage of terminal disease? Mom, my relationship with my brother is not good because of you. I made my sister in law cry because of you but at the end you pulled a stunt like this. You are so heartless; did you think about me at all? When I heard that you were stabbed I was so scared I thought you were already dead. Mom, I’m glad that you are not in a critical condition, but this is the last time I pay you a visit. I will never forgive you for playing with my feelings. When my dad forbade me to mention your name at home I was so upset. It is clear to me that your conscience was eaten by a dog.” Then he left the ward without looking back. His mother was dumbfounded her son was the only one who cared for her. However, she didn’t regret the decision she made. She was hoping that she was crippled so that she would be able to apply for medical parole. Unbeknownst to her was that her wound was not deep enough, and it missed the femoral artery.
