Chapter 25 They Got Married

  • Mark arrived at the Lewis residence at 7 am. He parked his car outside the gate. He was so nervous. What if Victoria changed her mind and refused to marry him? Butler Dave saw his car and opened the gate for him. He was wearing a slim, fit three-piece, charming white Tuxedo suit with white shirt, grey vest, grey tie, and black shoes. To his surprise, Victoria was already dressed. She was wearing a long silhouette lace trumpet dress with long sleeves, and white high heels. The dress showcased her figure, she was breathtaking, Mark was dazed, his wife was gorgeous. He rushed to her and took her in his arms. He kissed her forehead, “you look gorgeous my wife.” Victoria giggled, “you looked dashing my husband, have you eaten?” Mark shook his head, “I don’t have an appetite, I’m too nervous.” Victoria asked Butler Dave to prepare breakfast for them; it was ready within few minutes. After they ate, they went to Home Affairs. When they arrived, it was empty. The procedure went very quickly. They were given a marriage certificate.
  • “Hello, my gorgeous Mrs Anthony,” said Mark looking at her passionately. “Hello, my handsome Mr Anthony,” said Victoria smiling from ear to ear. Mark took his wife in his arms and kissed her, “I love you so much, you are everything in my life. I promise to love only you for the rest of my life. I promised to protect you; no one is allowed to bully you. You’ve made me the happiest man in the world. Let us go home.” Victoria was overjoyed to hear Mark’s words. “I love you more, you are my life. I promised to be a good wife to you for the rest of my life. I will give you beautiful babies.” Mark was so happy. Victoria was looking at the marriage certificate in her hands, she was giggling. She couldn’t believe her eyes; she was married to the most handsome man. She became emotional. The Lord had been faithful to her, she was counting her blessings. The Lord had done great things for her, and she was grateful.
  • Mark took his wife to a five-star hotel, His Glory. A few minutes after they arrived, the waiter came with their food. She gave Victoria a lamb shank with mashed potato, creamy spinach, and butternut. Victoria was touched. It was her favourite food. For Mark, it was medium rare steak with veggies and green salad. Victoria was looking at her husband passionately, she smiled sweetly. “I’m so happy; I couldn’t believe that you are finally my husband. I’m grateful to God for blessing me with you.” Mark became emotional, “I never thought that I would meet someone like you. I love you with my soul. I’m so happy that you are my wife.” Victoria was so touched she cried. Mark took her in his arms and kissed her.
