Chapter 130 May The Lord Order Your Steps

  • Aunt Olga looked at Mr Lewis and said, “brother in law, I’m sorry for not contacting my sister all these years please forgive me. I really loved my parents and my sister; it wasn’t my intention to hurt them, but I couldn’t face my father.” Mr Lewis nodded his head, then Olga walked to her brother in law and hugged him. Aunt Olga wiped the tears in her eyes and said, “let me look at you my beautiful niece.” Victoria wiped her tears and smiled at her Aunt. Her Aunt looked at her smiling and said, “you look like your mother, people used to praise me for my beauty but when they saw your mother she took their breath away. When I saw your photo in the Sunday Times something happened in my heart, your beauty captured my heart. When I put my house on the market I had you in my mind and I was praying for you to come. I have received so many offers, but I turned them down. I told my daughter that I was waiting for you to come. I told her that there was something about you that I couldn’t shake. I’m so glad that I listened to my instinct I didn’t miss you.”
  • She walked to Mark and hugged her tightly, “I saw how you look at my niece, with eyes full of love and gentleness. You are a good man; I know that my sister would have loved you. I pray that you will love each through eternity. No one will come between you, your love for each other will be stronger. Your marriage will stand the test of time. I bless you my nephew in law and my niece, may the Lord order your steps.” Mark smiled brightly at his Aunt in law and thanked her. Aunt Olga looked at Mr Anthony smiling and said, “thank you for loving my niece, may the Lord bless you.” Mr Anthony beamed and replied, “she is our family treasure. I’m so glad that you didn’t miss each other.”
  • Mark walked to his wife he patted her at the back, Victoria hugged her husband tightly. He wiped his wife’s tears then he helped his wife to sit down and asked, “Aunt Olga, what really happened to you? Did someone kidnapped you?” She looked at Mark and said, “One day my father called me in his study, my mother was already there with swollen eyes. I was confused to see my mother crying because they love each other so much. While I was wondering what happened, my father told me that he arranged a marriage between Fish family and Dunn family. I was stunned I couldn’t utter a word. It was clear to me that my mother was crying because my Dad decided to marry me to Dunn family without consulting her first. She was devastated, my mother was aware that I have a boyfriend. I told my Dad that it was impossible for me to marry Sebastian because I have someone I loved. My father was shocked to hear that, I told him that I was in love with Simon Reed, my father couldn’t believe his ears. In terms of wealth the Reed family was far superior to the Fish family, and Simon was the only heir. My father told us that he wasn’t aware that I was in a relationship, he blamed me for not telling him that I was dating Simon Reed. He indicated that if he knew beforehand he wouldn’t promised the Dunn family his eldest daughter. He told us that he was a man of his word therefore I had to break up with Simon and marry Sebastian. I felt betrayed, my own father sold me to his friend’s son even though our family didn’t need marriage alliance. He didn’t care about my happiness. I thought I was my father’s apple of his eye, but I was mistaken. I felt suffocated my mind went blank.
