Chapter 162 I Want A Divorce

• When she arrived home she was confused to see that the gate was locked. She didn’t have a choice but to ring the bell, but no one opened the gate for her. She took her phone and called her husband and said, “Emmanuel Johnson what do you mean by locking the gate? Open the gate right now.” She then dropped the phone. Emmanuel was too lazy to call her back and he ignored her. His wife was fuming with rage then she called Butler Ed to open the gate. He came to the gate and said, “Madam, Mr Johnson told me to tell you that you are no longer welcomed in this house.” Mrs Johnson was so shocked she nearly had a heart attack. She became scared, was her marriage finished?
• She tried to call her husband again, but he didn’t pick up the phone. She thought that James was in the house then she called him and said, “James, your father locked me out, please open the gate for me.” James sneered, “you deserve it Mom. I warned you not to take my father for granted but you didn’t listen.” He hung up in her ear. His mother cried sorrowfully whilst calling the cab to take her back to His Glory hotel to book a room. When she arrived at the reception she was told that she was banned to enter the hotel. She asked to see the hotel Manager then they called the manager for her. When the hotel Manager arrived, he told Mrs Johnson that Mr Anthony lifted the ban for her to attend Serene’s event only not to enter the hotel freely, he then asked her to leave. Mrs Johnson was so embarrassed she left in low spirits.
• She didn’t want to go to Serene’s apartment then she called James again and asked him to take her to his apartment which he refused. “Mom, why don’t you go and stay with your partner in crime? You disregarded your marriage for Serene, why do you need my help now?” His mother was astonished to hear her son talk to her like that, but she suppressed her anger and said, “Son, I know that I was wrong please allow me to stay in your apartment for the time being. Your father is very angry I want to give him some time to cool down.” James laughed and replied, “Mom, who are you trying to fool? Dad doesn’t want to see you again; he wants to file for a divorce.” His mother was so shocked she stammered, “W... what are you saying James?” James laughed and said, “I encouraged my father to divorce you because I don’t think you love him anymore. Please don’t bother me again.” Then he hung up the phone. Mrs Johnson felt dizzy, and she fainted. Since she was outside the hotel, the staff member quickly called an ambulance. They gave her first aid and she woke up. Her heart was broken to pieces, she was regretting the way she treated her husband. They advised her to go with them to the hospital, but she refused. Her marriage was falling apart she didn’t have time to waste.
