Chapter 193 Recliner Chair

• In the blink of an eye, the children were discharged from hospital. Since the ward belonged to the Anthony family, Mark and Victoria stayed in the hospital for the whole month with their children. Dr Cain checked her wound, it was nicely healed. He smiled at Victoria and said, “ Please note that the wound in the uterus has not been fully healed yet. So, please refrain from having exercise at least for three months.” Victoria squeezed her husband’s hand because she knew that her husband would wait for a year to touch her. He would be scared of hurting her. Dr Cain told Victoria not to bend and not to lift any heavy objects. He advised her to eat healthily. Then he looked at Mark and said, “Mark, please try not to make your wife pregnant before twelve months. Her body needs to heal properly.” Mark smiled and replied, “ Don’t worry Dr Cain, we are not going to have any more children.” Dr Cain smiled and said, “Victoria, give the babies only breast milk for the first six months. Should you want to go somewhere you can express breast milk. Refrain from using pacifiers because it may attract gems that can make the babies sick.”
• At that moment, Mr Anthony and Mr Lewis walked in the ward. They greeted Dr Cain and shook his hand. Mark thanked Dr Cain for everything, then the proud grandfathers took the children and walked out of the hospital beaming. When they arrived home, Mark saw his siblings and in-laws outside the door waiting for them. They had a welcome home banner. The living room was lavishly decorated with flowers. Victoria was smiling at everyone, it was nice to be back at home. She thanked the family for their love and support.
• In the living room there was a new recliner chair. Mr Anthony beamed and said, “I bought this chair for you, my daughter in love, I want you to be comfortable when you are sitting in the living room.” Victoria smiled brightly at her father-in-law and thanked him from the bottom of her heart. She was overwhelmed with sweetness. Mark helped his wife to sit down. He took a throw and covered her from the waist down. He didn’t want his wife to catch a cold. He was treating her like a princess. Victoria smiled sweetly at her husband and said, “my handsome husband, thank you so much for taking care of me always. Loving you was the best decision of my life. I thank the Lord for creating you just for me.” Mark smiled and kissed her on her forehead. Tamara silently prayed to be blessed with a quarter of what her sister-in-law and her brother had. Their love was special. Many people had pursued it, but they didn’t find it. She smiled and took Zion’s hand and said, “ Big brother and sister in law, we need a hug from you. Maybe the Lord will bless us with a quarter of what you have. What you have is so special it brings tears to my eyes. I feel lucky to witness your love.” Mark and Victoria hugged them with a smile on their faces.
