Chapter 32 She Was Banned

  • After work, Mark went to Lewis Group to fetch his wife and went to visit Mandy. When Mandy saw them, she was so happy. They stayed for an hour, comforting her. On their way home, Mark said, “Sweetheart, James vowed to remarry you, how are you going to handle this issue.” asked Mark became angry again. Victoria looked at him and sighed. “What is the matter honey, why are you angry? I was his wife on paper only. I don’t have feelings for him. Where did he get confidence that I would remarry him? I love you so much and I will spend the rest of my life with you. I will give you beautiful children.” Mark was satisfied with his wife’s response, but he knew that his wife respected Mr Johnson so much and it made him unsettled. “What if Mr Johnson begged you to remarry his son, what are you going to do?” Victoria saw that her husband was really scared to lose her; she kissed him and said, “I told his father that I will do anything for him except marrying his son. He promised not to interfere in my life.” Mark was happy to hear those words.
  • When they arrived home, dinner was ready, they ate, and then they went to their bedroom. They took a shower and went to sleep; they had a long passionate night. In the morning, Victoria didn’t want to wake up. She was so tired, but she didn’t want to ask for leave. Mark told her that she would be better after she soaked in water. Mark waited for her for a long time. He decided to check on her. He found her sleeping. He wrapped her with the towel and carried her to their bedroom. He called his father-in-law and applied for leave for his wife. Then he called Mr Johnson and applied for leave. Mark took a shower and went back to bed. Victoria woke up at noon. She was very hungry. She washed her face and brushed her teeth, and she wore casual clothes. Then she went into the living room. She thought her husband was at work, but he was reading the newspaper in the living room.
  • He gave her a bright smile when he saw her and asked her, “Are you still tired?” Victoria smiled, “I’m hungry, and I’m not tired anymore.” Mark asked Auntie Angel to prepare food for his wife. He went with his wife to the dining room. Victoria asked him if he had eaten. He nodded his head. She started eating. The food was delicious. After she finished eating, she watched television with her husband. Her phone started ringing, it was a private number. She ignored it. It rang again, Victoria pressed decline. “Who is calling you?” asked her husband. Victoria showed him the private number.
