Chapter 129 Aunt Olga

  • On their way home, Mark invited his father-in-law and his father to have dinner with them. He briefly told them that he had a surprise for them. He didn’t want to tell them over the phone that Mrs Reed had given them a beautiful house without paying her a cent. In the meantime, Victoria was on the phone talking to Tamara. She invited her for dinner and asked her to bring her brothers and Zion. Tamara was over the moon and asked, “what did you bring me sister in law?” Victoria smiled and replied, “you will see when you are here.” Tamara was so excited she promised to bring Zion and her brothers along. Mark and Victoria agreed to have dinner at home instead of going to His Wings restaurant. Victoria smiled sweetly at her husband and said, “Let’s go to the supermarket to buy meat. I will cook a delicious dinner for our family, my love.” Her husband looked at her smiling and replied, “Sweetheart, you are forbidden to enter the kitchen until you give birth to our babies. What will happen if you have cramps while you are cooking?” Victoria was moved by her husband’s words. She flashed him a beautiful smile and replied, “Auntie Angel and Uncle Goodman will supervise me, my love.” Mark hugged her tightly and kissed her gentle on her lips and said, “My heart aches for you my love, I will order dishes from His Wings restaurant tonight. I want you to rest, my beautiful wife.” Victoria hugged him back and looked at him with affectionate eyes.
  • Mrs Reed looked at the lovely couple with a smile on her face. She was reminded of her late husband, Simon, he was everything to her. They loved each other so dearly, they met when she was eighteen and her husband was twenty-one years old. Simon Reed was born into a wealthy family. His father, Mr Reed Senior, was an outstanding man, but his wife loathed him because her parents forced her to marry him while she was in love with someone else. After a year, she gave birth to a son, Simon. She refused to breastfeed him when he was born. He was taken care of by the nanny. When he was older, his mother told him that he would never mount to anything. She used to beat him up when she was fighting with her husband. Then she would vent her frustration to her son by beating and cursing him. His life became better when he was studying at the university because he was staying in the Campus. He was tired of emotional and physical abuse from his mother. After he graduated, he eloped with his beloved girlfriend, Olga Fish, then they went to Durban to start their new life together. The Lord blessed them with a beautiful daughter, Jewel Reed. She was the apple of her parents’ eye.
  • Since their car was parked at the airport, they quickly drove to their mansion. Mrs Reed was amazed when she saw their mansion. It was gorgeous. Auntie Angel and Uncle Goodman were at the door waiting to greet them. Victoria introduced them to Mrs Reed with a smile, then they walked to the living room. Auntie Angel told Victoria that Jonathan sent lots of flowers and gifts from the office. She told her that she had put most of the flowers into different vases, but she saved the cards, then she showed her the gifts. She asked Auntie Angel to prepare a guest room for Mrs Reed. She thanked Auntie Angel, then she walked to the kitchen to make tea for their guest. After a few minutes she returned with tea and muffins on a tray, then she poured tea for Mrs Reed and her husband.
