Chapter 80 Grace

• Deon made a reservation at The Grill Room restaurant for 6:00 pm. Deon and his wife, Debby, freshened up and went to The Grill Room for dinner. They were greeted warmly by the friendly waitress; she took them to their table. The setting was cozy and romantic. She gave them the menu, “Do you want to order drinks now or do you want to take a few minutes to look at the menu?” Debby replied smiling, “please give us a few minutes.” Then the waitress left them alone.
• “Hubby, what are you going to eat?” asked Debby smiling. Deon looked at his wife tenderly and replied, “I will eat medium rare grilled Beef T-Bone, with grilled garden vegetables and creamy spinach. And you Honey?” Debby looked at the menu and said, “I’m craving for seafood, but I just saw grilled Spatchcock chicken. My mouth started watering; I’m torn between the two.” Deon smiled at her and said, “Order both of them and choose one as a takeaway.” Debby looked at her husband and said, “I will do as you say my love, I will order King Prawns as a takeaway, roast sweet potato, and creamy spinach. For dessert, I will order Peppermint Crisp Tart and mango juice.”
• The waitress came back after five minutes, and then they gave her their order. Debby was grinning from ear to ear, she was very happy. It was rare for them to spend time together because her husband was very busy. Sometimes, even on weekends, Mr Anthony would call him if there was something urgent. “Hubby, you make me the happiest woman ever, just to spend time with you means a lot to me. I’m so grateful to Mr Anthony for giving you time to rest.” Deon looked at his wife with gentle eyes, he held her hand, “thank you so much my lovely wife for being there for me. Thank you for your support. I love you so much.”
