Chapter 30 Attending The Meeting

• At the Lewis Group, Patrick Lewis received a call from Planning Director, Mandy, that she had just lost her mother. Patrick comforted her, he told her that he was sorry for her loss and told her to take care of herself and take all the time she needed. He knew that Mandy loved her mother very much. Mandy was supposed to attend the meeting at the Johnson Group, since she was working closely with Victoria, Patrick decided to send her.
• He gave her a call and asked her to come to his office. Victoria quickly went to her father’s office. “Dad, are you looking for me?” said Victoria smiling. Patrick kissed her daughter and hugged her, “I just received a call from Mandy indicating that she had just lost her mother.” Victoria knew that Mandy’s mother was not well, but she was getting better, so she was shocked to hear of her passing. Her heart was sore for Mandy. “Do you want me to attend the meeting daddy?” Her father nodded his head. “Alright dad, let me go to my office to prepare, I’m glad that the meeting is at 2 pm. I will familiarize myself with the content.”
• She gave Mark a call and told him that she would be attending the meeting since Mandy had just lost her mother. Then she gave Mandy a call. She told her that she was sorry for her loss, she must not worry about work. She told her that she would be attending the meeting at Johnson Group. She would check up on her after the meeting. Since she was wearing an office uniform, she decided to go home to change. She called her make-up stylist to come to her home. She wanted to be pretty for Mark.
