Chapter 62 I Will Return The Favor

  • Macy was so scared; she hid behind Serene’s back, but her friend pushed her away. She forgot that Macy was in this mess because she was helping her. Tamara laughed and said, “Did you see what your best friend did to you when you tried to hide behind her back? Do you think she has your back? When did my Idol offend you?” Macy kept quiet. Tamara asked her, “Why did you beat up my Idol?” Macy was speechless; she didn’t know how to respond. Tamara gave her two tight slaps and said, “Your father’s company is funded by the Anthony family, you are such an ingrate. Who gave you the confidence to beat up the Anthony family member?” Macy was busy rubbing her face; tears were flowing from her face. Macy replied crying, “I didn’t know that Victoria was married to Mark Anthony.” Tamara became angry, “Don’t you read the newspapers, her engagement banquet was all over the newspapers. I asked you a question. When did my Idol offend you?” Macy didn’t know what to say because Victoria didn’t offend her, but she was helping her friend to vent her frustration by beating up Victoria. Tamara gave her another two tight slaps; Macy fell and screamed out loud, the pain was unbearable. Her mouth was bleeding, and her face was swollen. Tamara kicked her ribs hard, and then she fainted.
  • She walked to Serene and said, “I asked you a question, I hope you have an answer for me.” Serene opened her mouth to say something, but nothing came out. Tamara used a lot of strength and slapped her twice on her face. Serene screamed and said, “Please don’t hurt my baby, she is innocent.” Tamara laughed and replied, “When you were beating up my Idol did you think about her babies?” Serene replied with tears in her eyes, “I didn’t know that she was pregnant.” Tamara gave her another tight slap and said, “You haven’t answered my question, tell me if you don’t want to answer my question and stop wasting my time. Your mother-in-law told my Idol that she would harass her until she aborts the baby. I will do the same to you too if you fail to give me the response I want.” She quickly slapped her again. Serene screamed. She nearly fell. Tamara caught her before she fell. She gave her another tight slap; Serene’s head was buzzing. Her face was swollen as if she had been stung by bees. Her mother-in-law wanted to help her, but she was scared to interfere.
  • She sat on the bench and read her newspaper, waiting for Macy to wake up. After an hour, Macy woke up. The pain was unbearable. Tamara clapped her hands in excitement, and said, “That was round one. I will ask you the same question. If you give me a satisfactory answer, I will forgive you and leave you alone, but if you give me a wrong answer I will beat you up, nobody will come out alive. I was reminded that your intention was to kill my Idol, so I will return the favor.” They were scared. They screamed and shouted for help, but nobody came to their rescue. Tamara folded her newspaper neatly and walked to Mrs Johnson and stood before her. She didn’t utter a word; she just looked at her and waited. Mrs Johnson was so scared and said, “Victoria made my son unhappy when she agreed to marry him even though she was aware that James had a girlfriend.” Tamara looked at her and asked, “Who put the clause in the contract that my Idol must marry your son?” Mrs Johnson looked down, “it was my husband who put the clause in the contract.” Tamara smiled, “so why did you beat up my Idol by following the clause which was put by your husband?” Mrs Johnson sneered, “Victoria is a gold digger, she was supposed to refuse but she went ahead and signed the contract.” Tamara smiled, “it’s becoming interesting, are you aware why my Idol signed the contract?” Mr Johnson told his wife that Victoria agreed to sign the contract because she was scared that her father would try to commit suicide again if nobody helped them. Mrs Johnson replied, “She is a gold digger, she signed the contract because of greed.” Tamara laughed out loud, and she asked, “If you are saying that my Idol signed the contract because of greed, how much alimony did you give her after divorce?” Mrs Johnson was dumbfounded, what kind of a question is that? She was aware that the marriage between James and Victoria was in name only and Victoria didn’t get a cent after the divorce. She replied, “My husband didn’t tell me.” Tamara became angry and slapped her hard, Mrs Johnson’s eyes were swollen, she couldn’t see clearly, she was crying sorrowfully. She regretted her decision to bully Victoria; she plucked up her courage and said, “She didn’t get a cent since my husband funded the Lewis Group.” Tamara nodded her head and asked, “Why are you calling my Idol a gold digger if you didn’t give her any alimony after divorce? Did she ask for your family property?” Mrs Johnson replied, “She didn’t ask for any alimony or family property. I was angry at her because my son was sad; hence I called her a gold digger.” Tamara looked at her and said, “I’m not happy with your response, I will give you some time to think for a better answer.” Then she walked to Macy, “I’m glad that you are awake, I hope you have the answer for my question.” Victoria never offended her, so she didn’t know what to say, she looked down. Tamara grabbed her chin hard, “I’ve waited for the whole hour for you to wake up, and do you want me to kill you?” Macy was so scared, “she didn’t offend me, but I was helping Serene out.” Tamara laughed and said, “So you will not blame me for helping my Idol out, right?” Tamara slapped her hard and said, “Please think hard for my answer, if you failed to give me a good reason I will kill you.” Macy was trembling; she believed that the lunatic would surely kill her. Then she walked to Serene, “everyone is locked in this cell because of you, please answer my question well then I will forgive everyone.” Serene looked down, she was hoping that she would leave her alone since she was pregnant, then she said, “Victoria delayed my marriage between James and I.” Tamara walked to Mrs Johnson and asked, “Is that true?” Mrs Johnson shook her head; Tamara told her that she didn’t understand sign language. “My husband and I were not happy about the relationship between our son and Serene hence my husband asked Victoria to marry my son. We were against their marriage.” Tamara looked at Serene, “did you hear your mother-in-law’s response? Do you still think that my Idol delayed your marriage?” Serene shook her head; her mind became blank. Tamara slapped her hard and told them that should Serene give her a satisfactory response she would forgive them, failing which no one would come out alive. They were wailing and shouting, asking for forgiveness. Tamara went to the bathroom to wash her hands. Then she sent the video clip to her Uncle and her sister-in-law.
