• “Serene, who was that man who took Victoria away? He looked familiar. I think I saw him with my dad if I’m not mistaken,” asked Macy. “I don’t know Macy, maybe he is Victoria’s sugar daddy. Victoria was lucky I wanted to kill her today. I know Mrs James will support me because she hates Victoria,” said Serene arrogantly. Macy was so scared, she had never been arrested before, and her family would be disappointed. Her family was not like Serene’s in-laws. “Serene, the vibe between Victoria and that man wasn’t like lovers; it was like a father-daughter relationship. • While they were talking, Serene was taken to an interrogation room. She nearly fainted when she saw James waiting for her. James said, “I need an explanation, Serene.” Serene looked down, speechless. “Do you know the consequences if Mr Anthony didn’t arrive at that time?” Serene sneered, “Victoria should thank her sugar daddy for saving her, and I wanted to kill her for stealing you from me.” James was astonished, he couldn’t believe Serene’s ignorance, “Victoria’s sugar daddy? Do you think Mr Anthony is Victoria’s sugar daddy?
