- In the blink of an eye, it was Saturday a week before Victoria’s baby shower. They had to go back home to prepare for the baby shower. Uncle Goodman told them that the Interior Designer, Tyler Jones had done a great job decorating the nursery and playroom. He indicated that most of the stuff they ordered had been delivered. Also, Patrick received a call from his father in law indicating that they would be visiting them before the baby shower event. They wanted to see their grandson in law and his family. Her grandmother was looking forward to seeing her granddaughter again. Also, her relationship with her husband had improved a lot, she returned to their bedroom again. Olga had invited her daughter, Jewel and she promised to bring her family to meet her grandparents and her cousin. They decided to come on Monday when Patrick was back from vacation.
- It was Saturday morning, Timothy and Patrick were packing their luggage bags since they were going home today. After breakfast they decided to go to the beach for the last time. Timothy was kicking the sand. He had a smile on his face, he looked at Patrick and said, “I don’t know how to thank your daughter for everything she has done for my family. Most of the time daughter in laws creates division in the family but your daughter did the opposite. I will forever be indebted to your daughter she saved my life. Who knew that I will be walking on this sand without worrying about my empire? Since my Kimberly passed away I have never took leave, and no one has asked me to slow down and take care of my health. Even though Jonathan was around but he never felt the need to help me. My ex-wife was waiting for me to die to inherit the Anthony family inheritance. - Patrick patted Timothy’s shoulder and said, “Victoria loves family, she will do anything for them. When she told me that she fell in love with your son I was so scared that she would be in an unrequited love, but my son in law proved me wrong. She didn’t want to see their children miss the opportunity to be spoiled by their paternal grandfather. I will forever be grateful to the Lord for allowing my daughter to marry such a good man. My heart is filled with gratitude for the way you are treating my daughter, she is surrounded with love. I was so worried when Victoria married James because I knew that she would be miserable but my son in law came like a flood and swept her off her feet. It pained my heart when I heard the names Mrs Johnson was calling my daughter with. She used to call my daughter a gold digger and Serene’s friends called her a homewrecker even though she was a legal wife. I literally owe her my life, I nearly missed the opportunity to meet my grandchildren because of being a coward. I have learnt that life can bring pain, but nothing lasts forever, look at me I’m blessed with a great son in law and wonderful in law. I’m grinning from ear to ear because the Lord will bless me with cute grandchildren.” Timothy was beaming when he heard Patrick talk about his little dumplings. The Lord had been kind to the Anthony family they received blessings after blessings. Timothy wanted to go to see Simon Doyle before he left. They watched the ocean for the last time and went back home. They had wonderful memories from their holiday.
