Chapter 128 Hand-made Beadwork

  • Victoria was sitting on her husband’s lap on the balcony watching the ocean. Mark was looking at his wife affectionately, “Sweetheart, do you want to go somewhere before we go back home?” Victoria looked at her handsome husband and replied, “Baby, I would like to buy a gift for Mrs Reed as a token of appreciation, please take me to Ballito Mall. Also, I want to buy gifts for our family. Durban is famous for its beautiful beadwork.” Mark nodded his head and replied, “I saw stalls of beadwork along the beach, we will go there after we checked out.” Victoria wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him gentle. Then they headed down to the dining room for breakfast.
  • Chef Ray was in the kitchen when he saw them he took the dishes to the dining room. He prepared porridge, a full English breakfast with croissants. He greeted them, then he started serving them. Victoria smiled at him and said, “Thank you Chef Ray for the delicious food, we enjoyed every meal you have prepared for us.” Chef Ray was so pleased. Mark and his wife was a good couple and replied, “It’s a pleasure.” Then he went to the kitchen, he took out raw food from the cupboards and fridge and put the raw food in the bags. He went out to his car and put the bags in his car boot. He went back to the villa to clean the kitchen and wait for Mark and Victoria to finish their breakfast. When they finished eating, Chef Ray cleared the dining room table, then he left the villa. Then Mark and his wife went to their bedroom to pack. Mark quickly packed their luggage bags and they then went to the foyer to check out. Then he called Mrs Reed to find out if she was available. She was so happy to hear from him. She told him that she was looking forward to seeing them. Then they hung up.
  • He placed their bags into the car boot, then they walked to the beach stalls hand in hand. They were selling beautiful handmade beadwork; Victoria was grinning from ear to ear. They decided to buy two sets of six beaded coasters and beaded pens for their Dads. Victoria was not sure what to buy for Jonathan, Theodore and Zion. Her eyes lit up when she saw stunning beaded Keyrings. She smiled and looked at her husband and asked, “do you think they will appreciate this gift if I buy it for them?” Mark smiled back at his wife and replied, “they will surely like your gift.” Victoria bought them, the beaded Keyrings had South African flag colors. They were stunning. She decided to buy a multicolored beaded necklace with matching earrings for Tamara since Heritage Day was a few months away. Mark was following behind her. He thought they were done shopping, but he saw his wife approaching more stalls. Victoria smiled sweetly at her husband and said, “Honey, I want to buy gifts for Auntie Angel and Uncle Goodman.” Mark was touched that his wife was thinking of his Nanny and Butler, they meant so much to him.
