Chapter 78 Australian Open Quarter Finals

• Mark woke up before 5:00 am. He walked to the bathroom and filled the bathtub, and then he walked to their bedroom to wake up his wife. She was in a deep sleep. He kissed her until she woke up. She smiled at her husband and said, “good morning love of my life, did you sleep well?” Her husband smiled at her and replied, “good morning my soul mate, I slept well thank you. How are you?” Victoria sat on the bed and replied, “I’m well thank you, what time is it?” Mark told her that it was 5:05 am, and then he picked her up and walked with her to the bathroom. They washed up; Mark helped her to dress up, then they headed down to the living room to watch television. When Mark switched on the television, the umpire was in the process of tossing the coin.
• “Baby, I’m hungry” said Victoria rubbing her stomach. Mark smiled at her and asked, “What do you want to eat?” Victoria told him that she would like to eat instant porridge, and then Mark walked to the kitchen to prepare food for his wife. Auntie Angel was still sleeping; she usually prepared their breakfast at 6:30 am. He came back with a bowl of porridge and a glass of warm milk. Victoria thanked her husband and started eating. “Sweetheart, what is your prediction for today’s match?” Victoria replied, “Rafa will win in straight sets.” Mark nodded his head, “I hope so too, Rafa needs to play very well because Denis is so talented. It would be an epic match.”
• One of the commentators said that Rafa was a star marker. Rafa gave 100 percent every time he walked out of the court. The match began. Both players were serving great. Rafa managed to break Denis’ serve and took the first set by 6-3. Victoria was overjoyed. Denis tried to come back in the second set, but Rafa was too strong. Then he took the second set by 6-4. Victoria was relieved, she made a silent prayer, and then she went to their bedroom to take her bag. She thought that the match would be finished in a few minutes, but Denis came back strong. He impressively fought back. He started hitting incredible shots and he played aggressively, then he took the third set by 4-6.
