Chapter 52 Deceased Estate Executor

• Mr Logan went back home. He was sorrowful. How could he live without his wife? His life without his wife was meaningless. His wife’s perfume was in each room. He felt suffocated, he cried out loud. He couldn’t believe that his beloved wife left him all alone in this world. When his wife was still alive, she told him that should she go home before him, she would like to be cremated. He laughed at his wife because he thought he would go home first. He pulled himself together and went to the funeral home to buy the cremation urn. His wife was cremated on the same day she died. Then he decided to go to his office. He called his lawyer and told him that he would like to change his will. In his current will, he has given all his assets to his only daughter, Serene. He told his lawyer that he owed the bank fifty billion rand, but he only used twenty billion rand. He indicated that he didn’t want to leave anything for his daughter. He instructed him that upon his death he should sell his house, furniture, jewelry, his company, and his cars to pay off the loan. The rest should be donated to charity. His lawyer was confused. Was he going to commit suicide? He prepared the new will accordingly. Mr Logan’s Assistant signed as a witness. He left the copy of the will with Mr Logan, and then he left the office. Mr Logan wrote a letter to the Johnson family indicating that he didn’t want his daughter to be at his funeral and asked them not to tell her anything about him. He asked his assistant to deliver the letter to the Johnson family.
• When the Johnson family received a letter from Serene’s father, they were confused. Why did he send them this kind of a letter? Was he going to kill himself? Mr Logan loved his wife so much, he couldn’t live without her. His building was tall, his office was on the sixty-sixth floor, and then he opened the window and jumped. He died on the spot. While the Johnson family was still confused, they received a call that Mr Logan had jumped from his office window and died. Mr Johnson rushed to the scene; the police took Mr Logan’s corpse. Mr Johnson went to the funeral home to make funeral arrangements.
• Mr Logan’s Assistant called his lawyer; he was shocked when he heard the news. He had been talking to him less than an hour ago but now he was no more. He became the Deceased Estate Executor. He contacted Mr Johnson to ask for the whereabouts of Miss Serene Logan. Mr Johnson told him that Serene was in police custody, and he indicated that he received a letter from her father forbidding her from attending his funeral. The lawyer was shocked. He asked if Mr Logan gave the reasons. Mr Johnson sent him a video clip where Serene was beating Victoria. He was speechless when he saw the video clip. Where did Serene get the confidence to mess with Mr Anthony’s beloved daughter-in-law? He told Mr Johnson that he was appointed as a Deceased Estate Executor, and he told him about Mr Logan’s wishes.
