Chapter 87 Ravi

• Ravi went to his office; he wrote a letter indicating that he was instructed by Mr Lewis to collect the sum of five billion rand within three days. The letter was addressed to Mr Glen Edwards with Ravi’s company letter head. He decided not to delegate this matter to his subordinate since it was instructions from Mr Anthony, so he decided to go to the Edwards Group himself.
• Mr Glen Edwards was in his office, trying to get funds from his friends. Nobody was willing to lend him money. They reminded him that when his company was flourishing he looked down on them. They went to him for help, but he never helped them. One of his friends reminded him that two years ago they were attending a Business Conference; he had been sitting with ordinary people since he was late. Glen Edwards was sitting in a VIP area, when he saw him; he became excited and called him. He saw him taking his phone and ending the call. He thought that maybe it was a mistake. He called him again, but Glen Edwards looked at his phone and cancelled the call. He did it for the third time, but the same thing happened again. From that day, he vowed to cut all ties with Glen Edwards. He reminded him of the things he did to Patrick even though he didn’t help him, but Glen Edwards was in a better position to help him since he owed him a lot of money. Glen Edwards didn’t know how to respond to his friend, he couldn’t refute any words from him. He was shocked when he heard that he saw him cancelling his calls. He was regretful, since his friend’s company was now really doing well.
• When he sent the proposal to the Anthony Group he was sure that it would be approved. Unfortunately, it was declined with reasons. They couldn’t rectify the mistakes even though the reasons were like guidelines. He decided to bite the bullet and ask Patrick for help. It was public knowledge that Mr Anthony loved his daughter-in-law so much. Hence, he approached Patrick for help. He thought that Patrick would speak to Mr Anthony on his behalf and his proposal would be approved. He didn’t even apologize for being mean to him and for trying to force his daughter to marry his good-for-nothing son, Robert. He didn’t see anything wrong because it was common to have an alliance by marriage.
