Chapter 131 Visiting The Cemetery

  • After dinner, Tamara looked at her sister-in-law with anticipation in her eyes. Victoria laughed out loud, then she took her bag, she gave her father-in-law and her father their gifts. They were so happy they thanked her. Then she gave Zion and Jonathan their gifts. Zion was shocked. He didn’t expect anything from Victoria. She asked Auntie Angel and Uncle Goodman to join them in the living room, then she gave them their gifts. Auntie Angel was over the moon, she held her gifts close to her chest as if they were treasure. She was touched that Victoria bought them something. She thanked her from the bottom of her heart. Then she gave Tamara her gifts. She was so happy. She hugged and kissed her sister-in-law. She quickly wore her beaded earrings, then she asked her sister-in-law to help her with the necklace. She ran to the mirror to look at herself. She was stunning. Zion looked at her smiling and said, “You look beautiful my love.” Tamara smiled sweetly at him; she was grinning from ear to ear. They left around 10 pm. Mr Lewis promised to fetch his sister-in-law around 9:00 am.
  • Victoria held her Aunt’s arm, then they walked to the guest room. She hugged her tightly, then she bade her goodnight and left. She was so exhausted; her husband was waiting for her outside the door. They walked to their bedroom hand in hand. Mark helped his wife to take a bath. He took her pajamas from her closet and dressed her up. He held her in his arms, then they fell asleep. It was a long day, emotionally and physically. He looked at his sleeping wife tenderly, he was happy for her to reunite with her long lost Aunt. He had never been to his mother-in-law’s grave before, so he decided to tag along as well. He thanked the Lord for His goodness and for His loving-kindness towards his family. The Lord had done great things for the Anthony family, and he was grateful.
  • Aunt Olga was sitting on her bed with a smile on her face. She never thought that she would meet her younger sister’s family. The Lord had put a smile on her face. She called her daughter to share her good news. Jewel was so happy for her mother; she was looking forward to seeing Victoria. Her mother told her that she was going to the cemetery to pay respects to her sister. Jewel told her mother that she wished she had been there with her. She told her daughter that she would stay there a little longer. She wanted to spend time with her sister’s daughter. Her daughter was happy for her to meet her sister’s family.
