Chapter 77

• Rhodes's lips turn upwards into a soft grin as he shakes his head. Though the lighting is low, I can still see the slight twinkle in his eyes as he looks down at me.
• "You bring it out of me, from somewhere. Come on, walk me to the door so I know you've locked it after I go" He says before standing back upright. I pull myself out of the bed and follow him out of the bedroom to the front door.
• "I'll see you in a few days" He says softly as his arms go around me once we reach the front door, pulling me tight against his chest. My arms are wrapped around his lower waist as I rest my head on his chest. I savour it for a moment or two before he speaks again, creating a bit of distance between us so he can see my face.
