Chapter 367

• "Don't worry, you can talk to him this year" Rhode says with a soft grin. I remember Rhode 's extreme freak out after Dante tried to talk to me for a minute at last years pre Christmas get together. All Dante wanted was for me to help him bridge the gap between the two of them, to show Rhode that he had really changed for the better and to attempt to make amends. But Rhode wasn't having any of it, I'm so glad he and Dante are in a better place this year.
• "I see Uncle Toms car" Bianca announces to the room as she peers out a window nearby Rhode and I as she walks over to check on Theo. "How do you get him to sit so calm and chilled out like that?" She asks, gesturing down to my lap as Theo sits basically perfectly still, rattling the ball to himself.
• "I think he's just bored" I say with a small giggle. "I've barely paid attention to him honestly" The door opens and Rhode 's aunt Jen bursts into the room, her white blonde hair looks freshly coloured and curled to perfection.
