Chapter 220

• "I didn't even know you last year how do you know who I was dating?" I ask him, feeling a slightly flutter of nerves in my stomach as I wait for him to answer. I'm surprised at the chuckle that leaves his lips as he places the box in between us and starts unpacking books onto the shelves.
• "Everyone knew who you were dating last year. It's not everyday that a University student ends up dating a billionaire. You were the talk of the town last year" He tells me with a smile. I all of a sudden feel a large lump in my throat, I had no idea that I had drawn that much attention to myself. I was never flashy about being with Rhode , although we did have our pictures published in the paper a few times and he did pick me up from school in his fancy cars. I suppose people were staring, that wasn't just my paranoia.
• "Oh. I mean, he's not a billionaire" I say quickly, taking the empty boxes back behind the counter and breaking them down.
