• "I know that you're smart and you worked hard and when you walked out of that exam you felt good about how you did, I'm sure you got more than a 67" I repeat myself, trying to drill it into her brain. She nods along slowly as I talk, drinking some of her coffee.
• "You're right. I'm sure it's okay, but until you get that confirmation you just never really know" She replies with a small shrug, pushing the tart around her plate. I push the plate with the brownie on it closer towards her, and she gives me a wide grin before sinking her fork into it and taking a bite.
