Chapter 245

• We pull up to a large black gate as Mac rolls down his window and types in a six digit number onto the keypad. The doors begin to slowly slide open to reveal a sleek and modern white two story house with pristinely kept garden along the fence. It looks like one of those homes straight out of a magazine, certainly not one I ever imagined being invited into, perhaps as a maid.
• "It's alright I guess" Rhode teases as he takes in my jaw dropped reaction to it before we both step out of the car. The gravel makes a soft crunching sound underneath my feet as Mac carries our bags to the front door with us. "Four car garage in there" Rhode points to a double set of garage doors to our right as we make our way to the front door, his other hand wrapped around mine.
• "You have cars here?" I ask slightly surprised, he has like 6 cars back in London already. He smirks and takes a set of keys out of his pocket.
