Chapter 392

• I park my car next to one of Rhode 's sports cars in the garage and climb out, making my way through the side door into the house. I take off my coat and shoes and carry them upstairs into our master bedroom, where we moved our things to a few days ago. I've gotten quite good at climbing up the stairs, and I'm happier being settled into our proper room now. It's finally feeling like our home.
• "Hi bubba, how was the drive?" Rhode asks as I enter the room. He must have been starting his packing, an open suitcase laying on the bed as he walks out of the closet carrying a garment bag with a grey suit inside.
• "It was okay" I reply as I wrap my arms around his waist and cuddle myself into his side as he lays the garment bag into the suitcase. His arms immediately wrap around my shoulders and he turns his body forward to face mine as he holds me.
