Chapter 282

• "How does Poppy feel about having a boy?" Rhode asks, directing my attention back into the car. He sits beside me with his elbow resting against the window frame, his hand propping his chin up as he watches me.
• "She seems excited, I don't think she cared very much about the gender but I think she's happy. I'm still in disbelief that she's actually going to have a baby" I reply honestly. The thought of my best friend becoming a mother is beautiful and terrifying all at the same time.
• "Did you tell her you're moving back in with me?" His hand slides over to wrap around my knee, his thumb softly strumming over the curve. I love the feeling of his fingers over my skin, even more so when he's wearing his rings like he is now. It reminds me that I still have his ring on from when he let me borrow it in LA, I've gotten so used to wearing it, I may have to get one similar to it when I return it to him.
