Chapter 263

• I grab a drink from the bar and scan the room again to try and find her. She's not anywhere to be seen in the small area where people are dancing, there has to be somewhere else where they all are. Fuck, I've got to stop letting her out of my sight like this. Over on the other side of the room there's another section where people are dancing, but they're so clumped together it will be hard to find her, so I start to mount the stairs to get a better vantage point. I manage to find Mitch on the second floor landing overlooking everyone below.
• "Hey Mitch, you seen Amelia?" I ask as he leans against the bannister overlooking the ground floor. I try and scan the room for her, but there's over a hundred people it's hard to pick out any person in particular.
• "Seen her? She's currently tearing up the dance floor with my fiancée. See for yourself" He points towards a large group of people. There she is, dancing her heart out with a large group of people who act like they've been best friends for years. She laughs as one of the girls spins her around, and keeps laughing as she continues to spin before she bumps into one of the other girls, causing them all to just laugh that much harder.
