• But it's not for very long, only a few minutes later I get an alert on my phone saying: 'FRONT GATE OPENING', Rhode 's car shows up on the camera as he pulls into the driveway. For some reason I find myself sitting up straighter on the couch and running my fingers through my hair, like I'm trying to impress him even though I've spent the whole day on the couch.
• "Baby! I'm home" Rhode calls out moments later after he closes the door that leads from the garage into the main house. He appears round the corner with a few grocery bags in either hand, flashing me a smile as he sits them both on the kitchen counter.
• "Hey guess what" I smile warmly at him as he walks over to me.
