Chapter 421

• The celebrant gestures for Mitch, who takes a sheet of paper that Rhode hands him with a reassuring nod of his head. It must be time for him to read his vows, I completely missed hearing Sarah's after getting stuck in my head. I remember Rhode telling me that he and Max helped Mitch write his vows the day I went to the spa, the day I found out.
• "Sarah. I have always found it easy to write, so much so that I made it my profession to write lyrics. But none of those small fights and disagreements seem to matter at all now. It was all worth it, this will always be worth it. I promise to be your best friend for the rest of our lives. To always stand by your side. To support you with anything you decide to do. To strive to make you happy every single day. To work hard to be the best husband I can be. To kill any bugs that find their way into our home. And to always make you feel like you are loved." Mitch tries to keep his voice steady as he reads his vows aloud, the paper softly rattling in his hands. My vision becomes blurry and I blink quickly to try and clear the mist.

I love you more than words can say, and I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with you, Mrs Rowland" Mitch's speech finishes with a large round of applause from the crowd as Sarah closes the small gap between the two of them and wraps him in a tight hug.
