• I couldn't let someone else take her, they'd ruin her and then spit her back out again completely changed forever. If all she had wanted was money, not sex, not a relationship, then she could have had it. I went into that first meeting thinking that if she just wanted money then I could give it to her and she'd be on her way, but if she didn't, then things could be really amazing.
• And then she walked in, and holy fuck, I'll never fucking forget it. I caught a glance of her as soon as she walked in but I let Ambrose bring her over to me. I had to compose myself; my heart started racing, my mouth completely dried up and my hands became sweaty. My body was telling me that this girl was important, that things were going to change after this meeting. It didn't click until a long time later, but way deep down in my dark and damaged soul I knew that this girl had a hold on me and I hoped to every deity in existent that she would never let me go.
