Chapter 386

• "What if I trip?" Amelia asks nervously as she re-emerges from the closet, a gorgeous knee length yellow dress draped over her figure and a pair of white converse on her feet.
• "You won't trip, that's why you're in flats. If you don't feel like you can do it without your cane then you take it up with you" I reassure her as she examines herself in the mirror. I know she hates the thought of using the cane in front of everyone, but that's better than her falling as she climbs the stairs or crosses the stage.
• "Don't be so nervous darling, everything will be perfectly fine" Claudia assured her as she sits on the edge of the bed beside me. Claudia's dressed to the nines, a rather nice red dress and small black heels, she claims she found both at a charity shop back in Highcliffe.
