Chapter 381

• A few days later, I wake up from my second nap of the day suddenly overwhelmed by the realisation that I haven't checked my email since the accident. I must have hundreds of emails just sitting there waiting to be read. Why would I? I'm one of those people that only has their emails sent to their computer just because I couldn't be fucked setting it up on my phone and I used to be on my laptop everyday anyway so I didn't see the point in connecting it to my phone. But now I realise that I've missed a whole lot of stuff and it's starting to make me anxious.
• I slowly get up out of bed and walk down the hallway towards my office. Sure enough, Rhode 's in his office typing away on his own computer, he looks up briefly as I appear in the doorway of my own office.
• "Did you just wake up?" He asks, curiously peering over the top of his laptop.
