Chapter 438

• "Bub, our reservation is soon we better get going" I hear Rhode calling out outside of the bathroom as I stare at the pregnancy test sitting on the bathroom sink. Why does three minutes seem like the longest stretch of time in existence when you're waiting for a pregnancy test?
• "Just a minute" I call back to him as I pace around the bathroom. I didn't tell Rhode I was doing a test, didn't want to needlessly freak him out if it was negative. I know that last time he really wanted this, and I'd hate to just disappoint him. I'm not seriously expecting a positive, I'm just...curious. I've been feeling weird lately, like something isn't quite right with me. Maybe it's the travel, maybe I'm homesick, or maybe it has something to do with this stupid little test that's taking an eternity to finish it's testing.
• I'm still on the pill so it's not exactly like we are planning for it, but if it did happen.... I didn't exactly have the best reaction last time I had a scare in Australia. But that's only because I had basically just finished University and Rhode and I weren't in exactly the best place. I was struggling, not going to therapy as much as I should have been and not explaining my feelings as well as I should have.
