Chapter 294

• I will never grow tired of this view, how could anyone? It's one of the rare mornings where I've woken up before Rhode , who rests in peaceful slumber beside me. I don't blame him for being tired, we've been on our feet all day everyday since getting to New York five days ago. In that time I feel like I've seen absolutely everything, and yet I know there's still a lot of the city I haven't experienced yet. Rhode 's been an amazing guide, taking me through all the tourist hot spots with a smile. With only two full days left until we get back to London, I'm trying to soak up as much time relaxing with him as I possibly can.
• It feels like I've completely left London behind at this point. I'm of course always messaging my mum and Poppy with updates and photos about how it's all been, but aside from that I've been trying to live in the moment here with Rhode . And despite the rocky start that we had with Kate when we first arrived, I've really grown to love New York. Everyday there's something new and exciting to experience, and Rhode 's clearly devoted a lot of time into planning and organising what we're doing each day.
• I've been able to tick a lot off my bucket list; See a Broadway Show, visit the MET, walk through Central Park, the Statue of Liberty, and so many others it's almost hard to keep track.
