• "Mum you might want to come get a cuddle from her" Rhode tells his mum after helping me to turn the material around to show the rest of the room, obviously catching sight of my teary eyes. Eloise walks quickly over and kneels down beside my seat, hugging me gently.
• "It's so lovely, thank you" I say as I lie my head on her shoulder and she rubs my back. She wishes me a merry Christmas before hurrying back to her seat to watch as Michael helps Theo unwrap a present.
• "It's pretty cute" Rhode says with a smile as he folds up the apron for me and places it down on the small table beside him. "Mum asked me what colour she thought you'd like, of course I went with yellow" He speaks softly before looking back down at me, wiping his thumb across my cheek to catch some of the moisture that has dripped down.
