Chapter 390

• "So Amelia, it's been quite a while since we last spoke. How have things been for you?" Dr Lawrence smiles as we sit down in her office. I talked to her briefly on the phone after the accident but we didn't get into anything deep. Things have finally started to calm down after whats seemed like a crazy few weeks. The physio has given me the 'all clear' to go travelling so Rhode and I are headed to Australia. But before we go, I thought it might be wise to have a quick check in with Dr Lawrence.
• "Things have been pretty good I would say" I begin to tell her as I settle into the seat. "My boyfriend and I, we got engaged" I say rather sheepishly. Dr Lawrence grins and nods her head.
• "Congratulations, how are you feeling about that?" She asks with a wide smile.
