Chapter 62

• "Where's your car?" I ask. His glee is evident with his wide grin as he takes out a set of car keys and clicks a button, a set of headlights flash on a nearby sleek black Ferrari. This man and his cars, he's always a showman.
• "One of my favourites, since the weather is still nice I thought we might take this one, the roof pops down" He opens the passenger door for me and gestures for me to hand him my backpack. I slide it off my shoulder and roll my eyes as I pass it to him.
• "You do love your cars don't you Mr Whitlock" I smirk as I slide my body down into the seat as smoothly as I can, it's not so easy based on how low the car is to the ground. I hear the trunk of the car being opened as my bag deposited in there before Rhodes effortlessly slides into the driver's seat. He looks to me with a cheeky grin as the engine loudly roars to life, shocking not only me but a couple of students walking nearby by the volume of it. Rhodes seems to get a kick out of it, so I won't ruin his moment by telling him how the noise could have possibly shattered my eardrums. A small crowd seems to gather as Rhodes quickly pulls out of the parking lot and pulls into the traffic on the main road. It's quite a fast car, but Rhodes seems to be in complete control.
