• "How bad did things get?" He asks quietly. I shrug my shoulders, might as well tell him everything.
• "Pretty fucking bad, she's been in a facility since Amelia was 16. That was after Amelia had to go through Highschool while trying to look after her mum who practically fell apart" I reply. It may not be my place, but Amelia shouldn't have to tell him these kinds of things, she shouldn't have to relive all this trauma with the man who caused most of it.
