Chapter 454

• Peter is seated at the dining table with Theo on his lap amongst a mess of colouring books. Bianca and Eloise are watching as Briella focuses on placing brightly coloured stickers across a very patient Michael's face. Briella squeals and hurries over to us, her long blonde hair bouncing as she quickly runs and hugs me around the waist, completely bypassing Rhode and Juni.
• "Hey Briella" I say with a laugh as I kneel down and wrap my arms around her while Rhode sets Juni's car seat down and greets his family with a round of hugs and handshakes
• "How was the drive up?" Bianca asks as I stand back up once a reluctant Briella lets me go. Bianca hugs me tightly.
