• Francesca has been quite the supportive friend lately, she's been texting me quite consistently after the accident and even sent a big bouquet of flowers to the hospital. If Rhode and I are really going to get married I'll be completely ingratiating myself into his lifestyle, and that lifestyle means a lot more people like Francesca. At least she's nice and I know she has my back.
• "Who else do you want to invite?" Rhode asks as he walks into the bathroom and leans against the doorframe with his phone in his hand.
• "Definitely Poppy and also Max. Anyone else you're keen on bringing?" I ask as I rub some shampoo into my hair. Rhode shrugs and scrolls through his phone for a few seconds.
