• "I can't believe you let him do that" I say quietly before I brush Amelia off and leave the room, taking the stairs two at a time and slamming my bedroom door shut behind me. I pace back and forth, balling up my hands into fists before shaking them out. Dantes never been violent to my knowledge, but him being alone with Amelia makes me want to rip my room to shreds.
• There's a soft knock at the door as I sit down on the edge of my old bed. Can't they just leave me the fuck alone?
• "Go away" I say just loud enough for the person outside the door to hear. I don't lift my head up when the door creaks open anyway and I hear the soft footsteps make their way towards me.
