Chapter 53

• I sigh and fold my arms over my chest, looking around the park. It's not as busy as I thought it would be with such nice weather out, though there are a couple of people nearby having a picnic. A little further down there is a large group of boys playing football. As here we are, going in circles.
• "I thought you liked me" I mumble, a small amount of water brimming in my eyes, I don't allow for it to spill over, not just yet. "You told me that you wanted this to be different from the other relationships you have had"
• "You are different" Rhodes quickly interrupts me, he looks scared, probably because I'm about to cry in public and that could result in some embarrassment for him.
