Chapter 312

• Sarah and Mitch carry on ahead of us and reach the table first, settling into their seats as Amelia and I weave our way around mingling guests and clusters of tables.
• "Mate, I've got a proposition for you and I've been wanting to talk to you about it all night but I think I just have to do it" Mitch announces as I arrive at the round table with Amelia by my side. I settle into the seat beside Amelia as she sits between myself and Sarah.
• "Oh boy, what?" I ask with a half chuckle. Mitch is kind of a loose cannon when it comes to investments and business plans. And by that, I mean he doesn't do any research or planning whatsoever, just throws money and people at whatever he's interested in and crosses his fingers. I couldn't work more in the opposite direction; I look at data, trends, markets, growth potential, and yes it's boring but it's necessary if you want to make money.
